Repasser comme un pro

Le repassage permet de retrouver des vêtements nets et sans plis, pour une allure toujours soignée. Un bon geste d’entretien qui prolonge la durée de vie de vos pièces.

Voici nos 6 conseils indispensables

#1. Ne repassez que si nécessaire, et à la température appropriée que vous trouverez sur l’étiquette d’entretien. Utilisez un fer avec réglages de températures et surface antiadhésive.

#2. Vous pouvez éviter les plis, par exemple en utilisant de l'assouplissant, en retirant les articles de la machine à laver ou du sèche-linge dès la fin du cycle, et/ou en les suspendant immédiatement après l'essorage ou en les séchant à plat.

#3 Si vous ne trouvez pas les informations sur l’étiquette d’entretien ou qu’elle a été coupée, réglez votre fer au minimum, désactivez la vapeur et passez le fer sur une partie non visible. Vous pouvez aussi faire un test avec de la vapeur avant de procéder au repassage complet.

#4. Protéger les tissus délicats lors du repassage : le plus sûr est d’utiliser une pattemouille sèche. Vous ne laisserez pas de trace et les protégerez aussi des frottements, de l’eau et de la chaleur.

#5. Repasser le linge encore humide : les fibres humides seront plus souples et le tout plus facile ! Si besoin, vous pouvez absorber l’excédent d’eau avec une serviette. Il est aussi possible de réhumidifier le linge.

#6. Attention à l’eau avec la soie ! Bien qu’elle soit lavable, cette matière fragile craint les “taches d'eau”. Il faut toujours la repasser sans vapeur et ne jamais l’humidifier partiellement.

Les symboles ci-contre permettent de savoir si le repassage est conseillé et à quelle température.

On recommande :
- Un repassage à 110 °C pour l’acrylique et le nylon (1 point)
- Un repassage à 150 °C pour le polyester et la laine (2 points)
- Un repassage à 200 °C pour le coton et le lin (3 points)

Si le fer à repasser est une option peu couteuse et simple d’accès, la centrale vapeur permet plus d’efficacité et de rapidité. Un défroisseur peut aussi permettre de dépanner et aura le mérite d’être facilement transportable selon les modèles !
