Prendre soin de ses mailles

Une belle maille est une pièce d’exception. Souvent fragiles, les matières réagissent vite aux aléas du quotidien et aux lavages et nécessitent une attention particulière pour traverser les années.

Quelques conseils

Nettoyage à sec recommandé
Afin de conserver votre vêtement dans le temps, nous vous conseillons de le confier à des experts qui sauront en préserver l’éclat. En particulier pour les articles structurés tissés comme les manteaux, les vestes ou les pantalons, le lavage n’est pas possible au risque d’avoir des rétrécissements importants et un feutrage des vêtements.

Repassage
Il est conseillé de vaporiser légerement la pièce et/ou d’utiliser une patte mouille si le repassage nécessaire sur certaines parties (comme les cols ou patte de boutonnage).

Lavage
Un lavage à froid, à la main avec une lessive adaptée en évitant les adoucissants est possible pour certains vêtements en tricot. Lavez-les sur l’envers, sans laisser tremper.
Certains modèles peuvent être lavés en machine dans un sac de lavage avec un programme spécial très délicat (maximum 400 tours par minute pour l’essorage). Toujours vérifier l’étiquette d’entretien pour éviter les faux pas !

Séchage
Essorez-le délicatement sans le tordre et séchez-le à plat sur une serviette.

Quid des pièces délicates

Si certaines mailles peuvent être lavées en machine en cycle délicat (toujours bien vérifier les informations présentes sur l’étiquette), il est recommandé de privilégier le lavage à la main pour les plus délicates dont celles en cachemire. Prenez soin d’utiliser une lessive adaptée et de ne pas frotter. Le plus simple est de laisser tremper une quinzaine de minutes afin de rincer à l’eau claire avant d’essorer sans tordre et de sécher à plat sur une serviette.

RAFRAICHIR

Pour rafraichir une pièce en maille sans passer par la case lavage, vous pouvez simplement la brosser et éviter la stagnation sur le tissu des saletés et la laisser respirer. Pour cela, placez là à l’extérieur ou dans un endroit aéré et frais.
